Hypospadias is a congenital condition in which the opening of the urethra is not located at the tip of the penis.  Hypospadias requires surgical correction to allow normal urination, improve appearance, and enable sexual function.

Ureteral reimplantation surgery reattaches the ureter to the kidney if it has become disconnected. A disconnected ureter causes urine to back up into the kidney, leading to infections, pain, and kidney damage.
