PUJ (Pelvic-Ureteric Junction) obstruction is a condition that affects the flow of urine from the kidneys to the bladder. It occurs when there is a blockage or narrowing at the point where the ureter meets the renal pelvis.
Symptoms
Frequent urge to urinate but only passing small amounts
Pain in the side or back
Swollen kidney (hydronephrosis)
Urinary tract infections
Nausea or vomiting
Through Laparoscopic pyeloplasty, the obstruction can be treated.
